Walkway Solutions Ltd is a professional specialised outdoor construction company.
The Company was started by Allan and Nicky Berntsen from the Coromandel Peninsula in January 2006.
Walkway Solutions have contracted to North Island Councils, and the Department of Conservation to upgrade many popular walks and cycleways in the North Island of New Zealand.
We have worked on cycleways building multiple bridges on the Pureora Timber Trail, Pakihi Track as part of the Motu Trails and bridges on most sections of the Hauraki Rail Trail. We have recently completed 1.2km of 3m wide boardwalk and 2 bridges for the Te Awa Cycleway in Cambridge. We have built over 140 bridges in our time since starting Walkway Solutions.
Walkway Solutions has completed all contracts to the specified time and standards required for all their clients, including Auckland, Tauranga, Thames Coromandel, Matamata Piako Councils, The Department of Conservation and Trusts (Motuihe, Motutapu, Te Araroa and Perpetual Guardian) We are prequalified in SHE required by most councils and Impac Prequal required by Auckland Council.
We have a proven track record for the construction of tracks and structures, which is evident in continual work from our clients. Walkway Solutions guarantee quality workmanship on all aspects of the work we do. We have had only positive feedback from clients and the public on the standard of work produced.
