Based in Kopu, Thames

Job Description
Track building including boardwalks, box step and bridge construction.

Skills required:
Carpentry experience – Bridge/Structure Construction. Must be able to read, understand and follow building plans.
Leadership experience an advantage.

Track building – Benching track, Laying and compacting metal, vegetation cutting, working in helicopter operations.
Operate and maintain machinery and power tools effectively, measuring and cutting timber, carry out tasks unsupervised when required.

Has training in, or willing to be trained in – Workplace First aid, Chainsaw, Height and Safety 15757
Clean Driver’s License essential.

Understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
Ability to be adaptable.
Able to work in all conditions in the outdoors
Able to follow directions/instructions.
Must get on well with other people in a team environment.
Able to follow systems
Able to often stay away from home during the week (overnight allowance, food and accommodation paid for)
